The journey of Al Raya began humbly at 70th Street (Prince Majed St.) in 1991, with a modest 1700sq.mtrs selling area offering 15,000 items. It pioneered as a 24-hour operation in Jeddah, setting high standards for convenience. Upholding its motto "Quality Round the Clock," Al Raya has earned a reputation for excellent service among its clientele.

Adhering to strategies of competitive pricing, slim margins, and a wide range of products, Al Raya's model of high-volume sales under one roof has been fruitful. This success led to expansions into 45 locations across Jeddah, Makah, Medina, Taif, Nejran, Khamis, Jizzan, Sabya, Mejarda, Abha, Ahad Al Mesarha, Al Baha Arar, Yanbu, Derb, Baljurashi, Zahran Aljanup, Gunfudah, Bareek, Muhayil Aseer, and Al-Wajh.

Catering to the diverse needs of both national and multicultural expatriates, Al Raya meticulously organizes over 35,000 products across its aisles. Operating through two distribution channels initially in Jeddah and Taif, a third channel has recently opened in the Southern Region to better serve its vast customer base of over 100,000 individuals daily.
